+ Schedule: Full time, rotating shifts, weekend and holiday rotations

+ Hospital: Lucas Family Brain and Spine Hospital

+ Location: Indianapolis, IN

**Must** have completed PGY1 residency or have equivalent hospital experience.

Benefit options and eligibility vary by position. Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, and salary range at the time of the offer.

**Responsibilities**

  1. Assure the appropriate selection, dosing, administering, and dispensing of medication orders.
  2. Review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems. Recommend formulary alternatives when appropriate.
  3. Compound and dispense medications for accurate delivery to patients.
  4. Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
  5. Communicate with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
  6. Oversee technical personnel who assist in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies. Assist with academic functions such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students. May float to provide coverage of pharmacy needs.
  7. Provide patient counseling efficiently and effectively when required.

**Requirements**

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained within 3 months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

**Additional Preferences**

  • PGY1 residency or have equivalent hospital experience.
