Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron, MI, is seeking a per diem hospital pharmacist to coordinate pharmacy operations and ensure the highest standard of pharmaceutical care for patients across medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics and emergency services.

Required is a current state Pharmacist License with hospital experience preferred; BS in Pharmacy is required and PharmD is preferred. Per diem shifts are variable and patient safety is a priority at this accredited facility.

Qualifications

• Current state Pharmacist License required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate activities of the hospital pharmacy department to ensure high quality pharmaceutical care.
• Support patient safety across multiple service lines including General Medicine, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology and Outpatient services.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
