Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL seeks an Infusion Pharmacist to support chemotherapy and biologic infusion services. You will ensure accurate order review and verification, and collaborate across disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.

The role oversees sterile and non-sterile dispensing, including cleanroom operations, and requires Pharmacy degree and Alabama licensing; PGY1 residency with oncology credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent (3 years relevant experience) preferred.
• PGY2 or Board Certification in Oncology preferred.
• Experience in an academic medical center preferred.

Job Description

To provide patient-focused pharmacy services including monitoring of therapy, interventions, basic pharmacokinetics, education and medication distribution. To support the mission, activities and programs of the division, department and the Hospital.

Qualifications
