Veracity Ventures Inc. seeks a Pharmacist in Charge for its Champaign, IL retail pharmacy. This full-time, onsite role oversees daily operations, ensures compliant dispensing, manages inventory, and leads Pharmacy Technicians.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD, Illinois license, 5+ years in retail pharmacy management, and proven leadership. Strong regulatory knowledge and patient guidance are essential to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

PharmD degree is required.
Active Illinois Pharmacist License is required.
At least 5 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
Experience leading Pharmacy Technicians.
Experience with pharmacy patient management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and in compliance with applicable laws.
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, inventory, and medication storage.
Maintain accurate patient profiles and dispensing records.
Provide medication information and guidance to patients.
Ensure HIPAA, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse compliance and applicable regulations.
Lead, schedule, and support Pharmacy Technicians.
Provide performance feedback and communicate staffing or performance concerns.
Ensure employees follow pharmacy policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory to prevent shortages, expiration, or deterioration.
Perform other duties as assigned.
