The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BPharm, Virginia license, and prior leadership experience. Long-term care experience is preferred. Salary ranges from $131,000 to $142,000 per year with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• BPharm or PharmD required or equivalent.
• Active Virginia Pharmacist license.
• Experience supervising or leading pharmacy staff.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a pharmacy team and manage daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and workflow.
• Supervise and direct staff, including scheduling and operations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Support quality improvement and cost-containment initiatives.
• Provide clinical and technical guidance to staff and regional teams.
• Respond to medication-related questions from providers, patients, and staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
