Job summary

Altruix is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations at our Annapolis, MD location. This hands-on leadership role will oversee staffing, workflow, compliance, and service quality while contributing as a pharmacist when needed.

The PIC will develop team members, support business growth, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Strong regulatory knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist licensure in Maryland and a pharmacy degree.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
• Compounding experience and ability to organize and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure accurate and timely dispensing.
• Maintain appropriate staffing and oversee workflow for efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with laws, policies, and standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop pharmacy staff for strong performance.
• Identify workflow challenges and implement process improvements.
• Evaluate technology and operational solutions to improve efficiency.
• Contribute to production and perform pharmacist duties as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership and customer service to maintain satisfaction.
• Support onboarding and implementation of new business.
• Review KPIs, identify trends, and drive improvements.
