Job summary

Encompass Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe medication use, and support patient wellbeing within our inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will contribute to the development of pharmacy policies, participate in an interdisciplinary team, and dispense medications in accordance with legal and professional standards, while guiding clinical services and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards.
