Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage and cost-saving options, and deliver immunizations and medication therapy management.

You’ll ensure safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance while mentoring team members in a collaborative environment and advancing your professional growth within a nationwide pharmacy leader.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Retail setting experience including prescription filling and verification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
