Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients and educate them on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.

You will deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management, ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, and mentor teammates in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
• Active pharmacist licensure in the relevant district.
• Willingness to obtain immunizer certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
