Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team. The role focuses on providing expert pharmacy consulting, patient education on medications, and delivering clinical services including immunizations and MTM.

You will ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and compliance while mentoring staff in a collaborative environment. Qualified candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy, active licensure in the district, and are or will be certified immunizers within 90 days.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
