Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to join a patient-focused team across its U.S. stores. You will provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication use, and support immunizations and clinical services.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the district states

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire

1 year retail pharmacist experience
