Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients, educate on medication usage and cost-effective options, and deliver clinical services such as immunizations and medication therapy management. You will ensure safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, while mentoring team members in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have a pharmacist license, immunizer certification or willingness to obtain, and retail pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
