Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities during busy periods

Responsibilities

Fills and verifies prescriptions
Counsels patients about medications and possible interactions
Administers immunizations
Submits insurance claims and handles pharmacy paperwork
Interfaces with doctors, insurance companies and patients
Maintains accurate medication records and prepares reports
Mentors pharmacist interns and technicians
Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies
