Job summary

Smith’s Food & Drug Centers is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide professional services, counsel patients, and supervise pharmacy technicians. You’ll ensure compliance with all regulations while supporting the Kroger family’s standards and patient care goals.

The role involves counseling patients, filling prescriptions, immunizations, and collaboration with prescribers to optimize therapy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Board of Pharmacy license is required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor and team player.
• Good judgement and ability to protect confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services, including filling prescriptions and counseling patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Enter prescriptions and patient data accurately in the computer system.
• Counsel patients and coordinate with prescribers on therapy appropriateness.
• Administer immunizations under defined protocols and provide patient education.
