Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• 0–2 years of clinical pharmacy practice.
• Sterile compounding training with familiarity of USP 797/800 standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders, compounds, and clinical appropriateness before dispensing.
• Perform and verify sterile compounding to USP 797 and 800 standards.
• Complete clinical review including dosing, interactions, labs, allergies, and monitoring.
• Serve as a clinical resource to nursing, prescribers, referral sources, and patients.
• Document clinical interventions and therapy notes in CareTend.
• Supervise technician order entry, preparation, and inventory work.
• Maintain controlled-substance, storage, and recordkeeping compliance.
• Capture and report medication-safety events per the enterprise program.
