Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist Level 1 in New York to serve patients by preparing medications and ensuring accuracy in dispensing. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide pharmaceutical information and monitor patient therapies.

The role includes evening weekend shifts, with every weekend from 3 PM to 11 PM. A graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy with 0-2 years of experience is required.

Job description

Duties

The Pharmacist Level 1 serves patients by preparing medications; giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team; monitoring patient drug therapies.

Skills

• Dispenses medications accurately and in a timely fashion
• Resolves questions regarding formulary and non-formulary medications, following policies and procedures
• Provides dosing and therapeutic recommendations that take patient age/kinetics based on literature
• Performs patient education, including but not limited to proper dose as prescribed, taking meds on time, side effects if any, interaction with other drugs patient might be taking, all as per department requirements

Education

Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy (ACPE). 0-2 years as licensed Pharmacist
