Description

Your main role will be utilizing your clinical skills to complete utilization management reviews (Prior authorizations, Coverage Exceptions, Quantity Limit exceptions, and more).

• You will complete these reviews independently amongst a team of your peers and other pharmacy professionals.
• Quality and performance are measured by monthly quality and productivity goals.
• All new pharmacists are considered as potential long-term employees with a hope to hire on as permanent employees in the future, but cannot guarantee a timeline on conversion and contracts are evaluated every 6 months for extension.

Qualifications/Experience

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
• Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state where the candidate is licensed. Verify by searching the State Board of Pharmacy, and disclose any disciplinary actions.

Must Haves

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Results-driven attitude.
• Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
• Ability to make clinical decisions independently.
• Flexibility and resourcefulness.

Technology Requirements

• Proficiency with learning new computer systems, basic IT troubleshooting, and using multiple monitors.
• Word and Excel skills.
• Typing speed of 35+ WPM.

Preferred Experience

• Previous PBM or Case/Care Management experience. Retail experience (e.g., CVS, Walgreens) preferred over hospital experience.

Pay: $55.00/hr

This is a fully remote position.
