Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Hospital at Home team at Baptist Downtown. This full-time position follows a 7-on/7-off schedule from 7:00am to 6:30pm. The Pharmacist will oversee orders, dispense medications, supervise technicians, and consult with medical staff.

Florida license is required, with inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. PGY1 preferred but not required; IV/infusion experience is a plus as is BLS/PALS/ACLS training.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Florida DOH pharmacist license required.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Check technician work for accuracy before dispensing medications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and participate in committees.
• Answer questions from health care professionals promptly.
• Serve as a consultant to medical staff on medications and regimens.
