Gundersen Health System’s Emplify Health by Gundersen is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for our new Hillsboro retail pharmacy. This full-time role offers clinical autonomy, collaboration with care teams, and a patient-centered focus within a mission-driven system.

You will dispense medications, provide patient counseling, support disease prevention, and maintain accurate records. Required: PharmD or higher, Oregon pharmacist license, immunization and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Pharmacist license to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
• Immunization certification (e.g., APhA, PSW).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate pharmaceutical care at the new retail pharmacy in Hillsboro.
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide appropriate counseling to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, wellness, and disease prevention.
• Review and interpret prescription orders to verify accuracy and appropriateness.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories and interactions.
• Provide information and guidance on over-the-counter medications and health-related products.
