Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee daily medication management activities, providing clinical and drug distribution services while ensuring safety and compliance in patient care settings. The role includes supervision and participation in the preparation and dispensing of medications as prescribed.

Required is a Pharm.D. or equivalent; California licensure upon hire; PGY1/PGY2 experience preferred, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a Pharm.D. or equivalent from a US accredited school.
• 1 year PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency experience preferred.
• Current Pharmacist licensure in California is required upon hire.
• BLS certification is preferred upon hire.

Job Description

The Pharmacist is responsible for the daily organization and supervision of medication management activities in their areas, including but not limited to provision of clinical and drug distribution services and other duties as assigned. The pharmacist maintains, identifies medication safety concerns, and additional measures to provide a safe environment with consideration to the developmental changes in the patient population. Additionally, the pharmacists compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing related duties.

Qualifications

• Education — Doctorate Degree Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA. - minimum
• Experience — 1 year Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency practice experience. - preferred
• Licenses and Certifications — Pharmacist License - Upon Hire minimum Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire preferred BLS certification.
