Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center seeks a Pharmacist responsible for the daily organization and supervision of medication management activities, including clinical and drug distribution services. The pharmacist ensures medication safety and develops measures to provide a safe environment considering patient population changes.

Additionally, the pharmacist compounds and dispenses prescribed medications for patient care by performing related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent from an accredited school in the USA.
• 1 year PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise daily medication management activities and distribution services.
• Provide clinical and drug distribution services and perform duties as assigned.
• Identify medication safety concerns and implement measures to ensure patient safety.

The pharmacist maintains, identifies medication safety concerns, and additional measures to provide a safe environment with consideration to the developmental changes in the patient population. Additionally, the pharmacists compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing related duties.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate Degree Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy in the USA. - minimum
• Experience: 1 year Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency practice experience. - preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Pharmacist License - Upon Hire minimum Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Upon Hire preferred BLS certification.
