Job summary

McKay Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to join our team on a part-time, fully flexible basis. You would work across three branches—Belfast, Newtownards and Templepatrick—with shifts to suit, including 12-hour, evenings, days, or half-days.

Qualifications

• Qualified Pharmacist, registered and in good standing with Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland
• IT literate and familiar with Windows based computer systems
• Able to deal with high volume prescription requirements and manage a fast turnaround of work
• Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
• Able to travel to all 3 branches (Belfast / Newtownards / Templepatrick)

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of commissioned pharmacy services

Vacancy Description

We are currently looking for a pharmacist to join our team and can offer part-time, fully flexible working patterns to the right candidate.

We have 3 branches – Belfast, Newtownards and Templepatrick, and look for candidates who would be able to work across all branches, with start and finish times to suit. We would be happy to consider any work arrangements, for example 12-hour shifts, evening shifts, day shifts, half days, etc.

You would be working alongside a talented and knowledgeable team of Pharmacists, Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technicians and Dispensing Technicians to deliver a range of commissioned pharmacy services. We operate a leading, bespoke, digital workflow management system, a first-class automated patient adherence system, and robotic dispensing technologies.

Essential Criteria

• Qualified Pharmacist, registered and in good standing with Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland

Desirable Criteria

• Strong post-qualification experience working within a busy pharmacy and dispensary environment
• Sound working knowledge of McLernons Pharmacy Software System
• Experience in providing services to Care Homes
