Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide professional pharmacy services, including filling prescriptions and counseling patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy of dispensing.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal health codes and licensing requirements.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data accurately into computer systems.
• Counsel patients on medications, potential interactions and proper administration.
• Collaborate with prescribers on therapy appropriateness.
• Follow approved procedures for filling prescriptions.
• Administer immunizations under defined protocols.
