Job summary

PriceChopper is seeking a Pharmacist Floater to oversee dispensing and patient education across several Massachusetts locations including Gardner. You will ensure accurate prescription processing and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality service.

The role requires a licensed pharmacist in good standing, immunization certification, strong communication and leadership skills, and willingness to travel between stores. Overnight hotel stays may be required for coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing in the state of practice.
• Immunization Certification or agreement to complete.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in pharmacy software and MS Office; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications with accuracy and maintain records.
• Counsel patients and providers on medications, dosing, interactions and side effects.
• Participate in immunization, MTM and wellness programs.
• Supervise and train pharmacy interns, technicians and associates.
• Support business development and quality improvement while keeping a clean workstation.
