Price Chopper Supermarkets-Market 32 in Syracuse, NY is seeking a licensed pharmacist to dispense medications accurately, counsel patients, and support immunization and MTM services. You will oversee daily pharmacy operations, supervise staff, and engage in community health initiatives.

The role requires a BS in Pharmacy, active pharmacist license, immunization certification, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Formación

Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing within the state of practice.
Immunization Certification or agreement by pharmacist to complete.
Ability to communicate effectively: verbal, written and electronic.

Strong interpersonal skills.
Good analytical skills.
Ability to manage others.
Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively in order to improve customer satisfaction.
Ability to assign, prioritize, and evaluate the work of others.
Maintains professional appearance including dress code.
General knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
Must be 21 years of age.
Must submit to DL Monitoring.
Some overnight hotel stays required.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.

Responsabilidades

Prepares and dispenses prescription medications with accuracy and proper records.
Counsels patients and providers on drug use, interactions, and side effects.
Immunization, MTM, and wellness program participation.
Supervises daily pharmacy operations and trains interns/technicians.
Provides guidance and training to staff and ensures regulatory compliance.
Engages in community and store business development activities.
Participates in quality improvement and patient safety programs.
Maintains clean and organized workstation and facilities.
Keeps up with continuing education as required by state law.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
