Responsibilities

• Complies with all applicable federal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Prepares and dispenses of prescription medications, including maintenance of necessary records, accurate third party adjudication and patient charges, and inventory management.
• Counsels patients and medical providers regarding drugs, dosages, interactions, and side effects; monitors health and progress for compliance.
• Participates in immunization, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Supervises personnel in daily operation of the pharmacy department and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides guidance and training to interns, technicians, and associates.
• Uses professional judgment to provide exemplary service within scope of practice.
• Participates in business development activities in the store and community.
• Engages in continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized workstation; keeps facilities compliant with standards.
• Completes required continuing education programs as required by state law.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
