Job summary

Kroger Pick 'n Save in West Allis, WI is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services, fill prescriptions, counsel patients and supervise pharmacy technicians on site.

You will ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations, participate in medication therapy management, and collaborate with prescribers to optimize drug therapy. The role requires immunization certification and a dedication to confidentiality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required (state licensure).
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Friendly, approachable team player with good judgment.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• APhA Immunization certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and counsel patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians filling.
• Counsel patients over the phone and in person regarding side effects and interactions.
• Consult with the prescriber on drug therapy matters.
• Follow efficiency and accuracy procedures when filling prescriptions.
• Provide patient clinical services, including medication therapy management.
• Monitor inventory levels.
• Perform daily operational duties under the pharmacy manager.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain ability to work at multiple locations.
