Job summary
Yoke’s Fresh Market is seeking a Pharmacy Associate to deliver a welcoming, efficient pharmacy experience with professional patient care and accurate dispensing.
You will support the Pharmacy Manager, supervise staff in their absence, ensure compliance with safety and privacy rules, counsel patients on medications, manage inventory, and participate in wellness programs and community outreach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Reporting for assigned shifts on time and with clear communication; provide excellent service and leadership.
- Promote sales through discussions with guests and OTC product recommendations; discuss current promotions.
- Provide exceptional service by greeting guests and informing them of pharmacy features and services including medication management and drug utilization review.
- Maintain licensure in the State of Washington and/or Idaho and capable of compounding and dispensing prescribed medications.
- Train staff on safety procedures and ensure sanitation and housekeeping in the pharmacy.
- Operate essential equipment and handle paperwork and scheduling in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
