Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in a patient-focused role. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage and costs, and deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.

Vital duties include ensuring medication safety, compounding accuracy, and regulatory compliance while mentoring pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
