Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to join our team and provide expert-level pharmacy services to patients across our stores. You will educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-saving options, while delivering clinical services such as immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will ensure medication safety, participate in regulatory compliance, and mentor pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment, contributing to Walgreens’ commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
