Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our patient-focused team. You will provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services in a fast-paced retail setting.

You’ll ensure medication safety, compliance with regulations, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with physicians and insurance providers to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
