Walgreens, a leading pharmacy and health services company, seeks a Pharmacist to provide expert medication care to patients in a team-focused store setting. The role emphasizes immunizations, medication therapy management, and safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.

The Pharmacist will educate patients on usage, costs, and side effects while mentoring junior staff and supporting a patient-centered pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of retail pharmacist experience including prescription filling and verification, records and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
