Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and medication management in a community setting. You will ensure safe, accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance while delivering patient‑centered care.

Required: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, current pharmacist licensure in the district, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days. Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
