Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications and costs, and deliver immunizations and clinical services. You will ensure medication safety through precise compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance while mentoring colleagues in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year as a pharmacist in retail setting (prescriptions, records, compliance).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the district states
