Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy services to patients in our store. You will educate patients on medication usage, immunizations, cost-saving options, and work to ensure safe, accurate dispensing.

You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, mentor other staff, and deliver clinical services in a patient-centered environment while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and quality care expectations.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the United States.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Retail pharmacy experience (1 year) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment
