Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medication usage and costs, and deliver clinical services including immunizations. You will ensure medication safety and mentor staff in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes patient-focused care, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth within Walgreens’ customer-centric pharmacy network.

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
