Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services. You will ensure safe dispensing, regulatory compliance, and contribute to a team-focused, patient-centered care model.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience including prescription filling and verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
