Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting, patient education, and clinical services including immunizations and medication management. You will ensure safe dispensing and collaborate with the team to support patient care.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
