Description

Verify and fills orders for medications, monitors patient medication therapies, provides drug information, identifies and troubleshoots potential medication safety hazards, documents all interactions for medical review, and supervises and directs support personnel.

Requirements

• This position is for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years and have worked as an employee of an organization or successfully completed a contract. Each work history entry must list the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems are listed on one job, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used.
• No RTO is allowed.
• The listed start date is firm. Variable Shift 4 x 10s, must pass IV training.
• Must be familiar with pediatric and neonatal age groups. These are high risk age groups that would require age‑specific awareness, if not competence.
• Auto Offer, EPIC Backfill.
• Must have current Epic Experience.
• Education and Work Experience: Graduate of school of pharmacy – Required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree – Preferred.
• One year’s technical experience – Preferred.
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience – Preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Pharmacist license in the state of practice – Required.
• All licensures and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist at the state level – Required.
