Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• 1 year of retail experience.
• Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ prescription needs while concentrating on accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal laws (including HIPAA).
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company standards.
• Know trade area and competition; create a positive pharmacy image.
• Monitor stock, inventory, policies, records, and recalls per policy.
• Maintain records for legal compliance and reporting.
• Keep work area clean and organized to present a professional image.
• Maintain and verify all equipment and signage; ensure proper operation.
• Ensure all scheduled drugs are properly stored and tracked.
• Follow procedures for handling products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits are used appropriately.
• Maintain all required manuals and equipment; verify staff knowledge.
• Ensure proper signage in all areas; maintain pharmacy knowledge.
• Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills; work well under pressure.
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and honestly share information.
• Support interactions with minors, special needs individuals, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
