Job summary

Walgreens is recruiting a pharmacist to join our team in Michigan. You will provide expert pharmacy consulting, educate patients on medications, and deliver clinical services including immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance while mentoring teammates in a collaborative environment. Qualified candidates hold a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, current licensure in the district, and immunizer certification or willingness to obtain it

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree or PharmD from an accredited program.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
