Delta Health Center in Mississippi is seeking a Pharmacist to join our community health team. You will review prescriptions, educate patients, collaborate with physicians, and oversee accurate dispensing of medications.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharm.D., a Mississippi license, and strong communication skills. Our clinic emphasizes care for underserved populations, quality assurance, and staff mentorship within a multidisciplinary setting, with MTM and inventory management experience highly

Qualificações

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current Mississippi Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical standards, laws, and ethics.

Responsabilidades

• Review and dispense prescriptions following regulations.
• Educate patients on medications, usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize therapy.
• Conduct MTM to improve outcomes and adherence.
• Oversee preparation and labeling of medications, including sterile/non-sterile.
• Monitor interactions, allergies, and contraindications; take action as needed.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and supervision to technicians and staff.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking.
