Job summary

CVS Health Corporation invites applications for a one-year Clinical Quality Evolution Fellowship based in Woonsocket, RI. Two fellows will engage in clinical decision support, regulatory and quality standards, and hands-on pharmacy operations collaboration.

The program includes mentorship, cross-functional projects, and opportunities to work with university partners and local district leadership throughout the year.

Qualifications

• PharmD candidate from an ACPE accredited program.
• Live within or able to relocate to the Woonsocket, RI area.
• Currently licensed or eligible for Rhode Island pharmacist licensure.
• Strong communication, presentation, and clinical-research skills.
• Strong writing ability; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Knowledge of drug information resources, clinical trial data, and statistics.
• Ability to work independently with accountability and professionalism in a corporate setting.
• Willing to travel for training programs, meetings, and conferences as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical research to deliver evidence-based recommendations for cross-functional projects.
• Review marketing materials to ensure clinical accuracy.
• Support implementation of regulatory and quality standards (nonsterile compounding, REMS, etc.).
• Precepting final-year student pharmacists and collaborating with URI teaching programs.
• Partner with CVS District Leader and staff a retail location one day per week to gain workflow insights.
• Collaborate with researchers and other CVS Health teams on improved processes.
