Hawaii Pacific Health's Straub Benioff Medical Center in Honolulu seeks a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to collaborate with the oncology team to provide safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Hawai‘i Pharmacist license, and BLS certification, with PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency or two years of clinical oncology experience. This is a full-time, day-shift, 1.0 FTE position.
Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai\u2019i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region\u2019s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai\u2019i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.
The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist collaborates with the multidisciplinary oncology team including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and others to provide safe, effective, and high quality pharmaceutical care to patients in the ambulatory and in-patient oncology areas. Works closely with the oncology Clinical Pharmacists at all sites and within the Oncology Service Line to help standardize and improve quality, safety, and efficiency of oncology care at Hawai\u2019i Pacific Health.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Pharmacy. Current Hawai\u2019i Pharmacist license. Current BLS Certification. Completion of ASHP\u2019s accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Pactice Registry OR Two (2) years of Clinical Pharmacist experience.
Preferred Qualifications: PharmD degree. Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP). PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency or Two (2) years of primary Clinical Oncology Pharmacist experience.
