Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Pharmacist in Kalamazoo, MI, for an on-call position. Responsibilities include medication order verification, dispensing, and inventory management. Candidates must have an active Michigan Pharmacist License.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Pharmacist License in the state of Michigan.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with HCS and Med-Dispense systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Dispense and distribute medications effectively.
• Manage inventory and ensure medication stocking.
• Support pharmacy operations on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with clinical staff for patient care.

Skills

Active Michigan Pharmacist License in good standing

Inpatient hospital experience

Behavioral Health Pharmacist

Location: Kalamazoo, MI Area

Assignment Details

• Start: June 2026
• Duration: Ongoing coverage
• Schedule: Fridays preferred
• Hours: On-call 5:00am‑8:00am, onsite 8:00am‑4:30pm, then on-call until 7:30pm
• Mondays may be considered if Fridays are unavailable

Requirements

• Active Michigan Pharmacist License in good standing
• Inpatient hospital experience preferred
• Experience with HCS preferred
• Experience with Med‑Dispense preferred

• Medication order verification
• Medication dispensing and distribution
• Inventory management and medication stocking
• Support daily pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
