Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital DeRidder is seeking a part-time pharmacist to support inpatient/outpatient psychiatric care. You will restock the automated medication system (AMS), ensure inventory accuracy and expiration controls, and submit routine reports and audits.

A BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and current state licensure are required; hospital experience is preferred. The role entails workplace safety and ergonomic considerations, with occasional evening or weekend schedules.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and active license in state of practice.
• ACPE-accredited school graduate with PharmD/BS degree.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restock the automated medication system (AMS) at least twice weekly and as requested.
• Maintain inventory integrity, expiration dating, and AMS orderliness.
• Prepare and submit reports and audits as scheduled.
