Hospital Pharmacist Remote Order Entry

Cardinal Health Remote Pharmacy Services is currently searching for a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacist to join our remote pharmacy team. Pharmacists will utilize their clinical skills to remotely service patients and provide top-notch continuity of care.

Anticipated hours are 5pm-8:30pm, Monday-Saturday, and 10am-6pm on Sundays, with a 7 on/7 off schedule (Wednesday through Tuesday).

Responsibilities

• Answering video calls for patients and counseling on new medications
• Answering clinical questions from patients
• Documenting patient interactions
• Potential cross-training to support inpatient remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification

Qualifications

• Active pharmacy license(s) in the state of residence and original licensure
• Active CA license required
• Must reside in CA
• 2-4 years of experience preferred
• Ability to gain reciprocity in additional states
• Computer savvy to operate multiple pharmacy information systems
• Excellent communication skills for effective interactions with healthcare professionals

Hourly Range: $54.60 - $77.89 per hour, based on experience.
