Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy Services, LLC is hiring a Pharmacist to join a closed-door long-term care pharmacy serving nursing facilities and caregivers. The role emphasizes compliance, supervision of technicians, and medication assessments to ensure timely, safe delivery of medications.

Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, current state licensure, and strong clinical/IV skills. The team values patient-focused care and ongoing education within a supportive environment.

• B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current license in State(s) practicing.
• Strong clinical and IV skills as a Pharmacist are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice.
• Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring.
• Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies.
• Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems.
• Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders.
• Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our team!

As thePharmacistyour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
