Job summary

Consonus Pharmacy, a closed-door long-term care pharmacy serving nursing facilities and residents, is hiring a Pharmacist to join our team in California. You will oversee clinical drug use, ensure regulatory compliance, and support care facilities with timely medication services.

Qualifications

• B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current license in State(s) practicing.
• Strong clinical and IV skills as a Pharmacist are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice.
• Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed.
• Conduct medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring.
• Coordinate deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies.
• Answer facility's drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems.
• Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders.
• Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.

Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our team!

Pharmacist

As the Pharmacist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
