The Pharmacist provides medication verification, dispensing, and clinical oversight within a retail pharmacy setting. This role ensures safe, effective medication therapy, identifies potential safety issues, and supports patient education while supervising pharmacy support staff.
Verify, process, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently
Monitor patient medication therapies and identify safety concerns
Provide drug information and clinical guidance to patients and healthcare staff
Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards
Participate in medication utilization reviews and quality assurance activities
Support pharmacy operations including procurement, formulary compliance, and cost‑saving initiatives
Document all clinical interactions and interventions
Assist with process improvements and development of pharmacy services
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (required)
PharmD (preferred)
Pharmacist license in the state of California (required)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
1 year of technical or clinical pharmacy experience (preferred)
Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
